Applying for a Japan visa as a freelancer — what documents did you submit?
I’m self-employed and don’t have traditional payslips or a company HR letter.
For those who applied for a Japan tourist visa while freelancing or running a small business, what documents did you provide to show proof of income?
Realizing this is not about standard corporate employment, the embassy primarily needs to verify your financial solvency and strong ties to your home country. So FYI, you cannot just leave the employment section blank or ambiguous.
Has anyone from South Asia actually used Upwork/Fiverr earning certificates for the Japan tourist visa specifically?
