Georgian E-Visa Portal Functionality for Sri Lankans and Onward Travel Proof Requirements

Hello everyone, I am running into a logic error while compiling travel plans for a team retreat, specifically for a Sri Lankan colleague. We are looking at the current visa protocols for Georgia.

Is the designated e-visa portal (evisa.gov.ge) actually functioning for Sri Lankan nationals to generate a valid permit, or is the system returning rejections, necessitating a manual application through the embassy in New Delhi? I need to verify the correct input method here.

Additionally, the itinerary pushes to Turkey immediately after the Georgia leg. Does Georgian immigration validation require the presentation of the Turkish visa or confirmed onward flight data upon entry? We really want to avoid any critical failures at the checkpoint. Any insights on the current build of these regulations would be helpful.

Has anyone holding a Sri Lankan passport actually successfully entered Georgia using solely the e-visa in the last 30 days?

I wish to share a relevant experience regarding the onward travel documentation. I arrived at Tbilisi International Airport 11 days ago. Upon presenting my passport, I was taken to a secondary inspection area.
